A drunk and belligerent Johnny Depp wound up like a “baseball pitcher” and hurled a cell phone at his wife Amber Heard’s face during a violent meltdown two days before she filed for divorce, the actress claimed Friday.
Heard was sporting a red bruise on her right cheek when she appeared in a Los Angeles courthouse and won a temporary restraining order against the Oscar nominee she called “physically dangerous.”
She claimed Depp, 52, was “inebriated and high” when he went on a wild rampage inside their Los Angeles condominium Saturday night, battering her with the cell phone, pulling her hair, “violently grabbing” her face, smashing bottles of wine and vandalizing her painting studio.
The judge ordered Depp to stay at least 100 yards away from Heard but denied her request that he attend anger management courses and steer clear of her pet Yorkshire terrier Pistol.
Johnny Depp wants quick 'dissolution’ in divorce from Amber Heard
A Depp source questioned whether Heard, who filed for divorce Monday, was physically injured but declined to comment on the record.
In an opposition filing Friday, Depp’s lawyer said Heard is “attempting to secure premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”
Los Angeles police officers who responded to Heard’s condominium after the Saturday fight said she declined to file a report and provided no evidence of injury.
“Investigators determined a crime did not occur,” an LAPD spokesman told the Daily News.
Heard, 30, painted a different, much darker picture in her court declaration.
