In addition to Russian contacts, Robert Mueller reportedly probes Jared Kushner over foreign financing

Robert Mueller's already expansive investigation is expanding even more.

In addition to Russian contacts, Robert Mueller reportedly probes Jared Kushner over foreign financing

In addition to Russian election meddling, the special counsel's probe is now looking into financing efforts that President Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner undertook on behalf of his family company during the presidential transition, according to a report.

The revelation, confirmed to CNN by several sources familiar with the matter, marks the first indication that Mueller is interested in Kushner's communications with both Russian and nonRussian actors. Kushner's contacts with certain Chinese investors are of particular interest, the sources said.

Mueller is already investigating Kushner over his contacts with Russian officials and his relationship with ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn, who was slammed with federal charges after lying to the FBI about his contacts with a Russian ambassador.

Kushner wore many different hats during the transition, including spearheading outreach to "over 15 countries," according to a statement he gave to a congressional committee.

But in addition to working as his father-in-law's international liaison, Kushner reached out to foreign financers on behalf of the Kushner Companies to secure financing for 666 Fifth Avenue, a Manhattan building that has suffered serious financial setbacks in recent years, sources said.

It wasn't immediately known what Mueller hopes to find out about Kushner's contacts with foreign investors. Mueller's investigators have not yet reached out to Kushner Companies for information, a source said.

The White House did not return a request for comment from the Daily News.

Among the people that Kushner met with during the transition is Wu Xiaohui, the chairman of Anbang Insurance, the Chinese corporation that owns the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan, according to reports.

Kushner Companies was nearing a deal for Anbang to invest in the 666 Fifth Avenue building when Kushner sat down with Xiaohui a week after Trump's election. But the investment negotiations collapsed after Kushner and Xiaohui's meeting was revealed and scrutinized in press accounts.

In addition to Xiaohui, Mueller's team is asking Kushner about his dealings with a Qatari financer interested in the same building, a source said.

Kushner Companies bought the 41-story building for a whopping $1.8 billion in 2007. The skyscraper racked up more than $1.4 billion in debt after the 2008 financial crisis, setting the family company scrambling for investors.

In addition to Russian election meddling and foreign financing, Mueller is looking into possible collusion between Trump's campaign and the Russian government. He is also probing whether Trump obstructed justice by firing ex-FBI Director James Comey.

  1. In this manner my pal Wesley Virgin's adventure begins with this SHOCKING and controversial video.

Wesley was in the military-and shortly after leaving-he discovered hidden, "MIND CONTROL" secrets that the CIA and others used to get whatever they want.

These are the same methods many celebrities (notably those who "became famous out of nothing") and the greatest business people used to become wealthy and famous.

You've heard that you utilize only 10% of your brain.

That's really because the majority of your brain's power is UNCONSCIOUS.

Maybe that conversation has even taken place IN YOUR very own mind... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's mind seven years back, while driving an unregistered, trash bucket of a vehicle without a driver's license and $3 on his debit card.

"I'm absolutely frustrated with going through life payroll to payroll! Why can't I turn myself successful?"

You've taken part in those questions, ain't it so?

Your success story is going to happen. You need to start believing in YOURSELF.
