This article is going to tell you
about the installation procedure of windows 7. It is also helpful for
beginners. Just follow the given steps carefully.
Note: You should have a key to activate your Windows.
Step 1:- Turn ON your computer and press del or F2 depending upon
your systems mainboard to enter into BIOS menu.
Step 2:- In boot menu choose Boot from CD/DVD in boot device
priority.
Step 3:- Save the configuration by pressing F10 and exit BIOS menu
and then restart your computer.
Step 4:- Insert Window 7 DVD and start your computer. It will Start
loading Window 7's files.
Step5:- After completion of this stage you will see the image as
given below.
Step 6:- After that you will reach at the installation menu, where
you have to select your language and keyboard.
Step 7:- Now click on install and proceed.
Step 8:- Mark check in the given box and accept the license terms.
Step 9:- After that you will ask whether you want to Upgrade an existing installation or you
want to do custom(advanced)
installation.
We recommend you to do custom installation as it create a new
copy of windows and system runs smoothly with it.
Step 10:- Choose the disk partition where you want to install your
windows. We strongly recommend you to select Primary partition which will be your
C:drive.

Step 11:- Then click next and it will start installing windows. It
will take few minutes so have patience.
During this you computer may
restart several times but don't press any key.
Step 12:- After that you will asked to enter your username and
computer name.
Step 13:- You will asked to password protect your PC. You should
enter a strong password.
Step 14:- Now you have to activate your windows. Enter your key in
given space.
Step 15:- Now you will asked about updation of windows and you can
choose according to your choice. You can also change it later.
Step 16:- Select your time zone.
Step 17:- Now select your location according to your choice. Home
network is more secure than Public and Work.
Congratulations!
You have successfully installed your Windows 7. It is more easy to install
Windows 7 then Windows XP and previous versions. It is more user friendly.
