15-year-old boy found dead in Upper East Side apartment

 A 15-year-old boy died in an Upper East Side apartment, police said Wednesday.

Cops found Takashi Tamiguchi lifeless in his home on E. 85th St. near Third Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said. The teen was lying face down on his bed, inside a sleeping bag, sources said.

Investigators questioned the boy’s mother early Wednesday.

Police found no signs of trauma on the boy, according to officials.

The city Medical Examiner’s office will determine how he died.
