The South Korean tech giant Samsung
is going to launch its Tizen OS smartphone in India. This will be launched in
November this year. It will based on its homegrown OS Tizen. This news is
according to the latest report from The Economic Times.
According to news Samsung is
going to reduce its dependency on Google and want to enhance in mobile software
and services. Tizen smartphone would be a budget phone and co-exist with other
android devices.
There is not any much information
yet about Tizen but Tarun Malik and his team is working to boost the Tizen
based devices.
Tarun Malik, director of media
solutions centre south west Asia said to The Economic Times that
"We started late but we are
very focused. We are not shooting in the wild. This is the game that has to be
led by the device manufacturer and not the telecom operators(Pipe).
