The 36-year-old reality star was arrested on April 25 after an Iowa car crash that left 66-year-old farmer Kenneth Mosher dead.

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office said that Soules was driving a pick-up truck when he rear-ended Mosher’s tractor.

“He was devastated to learn that Kenneth Mosher, the other person in the accident, passed away," his rep, Stan Rosenfield, said in a statement. "His thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Mosher's family.”

The former Iowa farmer called 911 after the crash and waited for first responders, but left before police arrived, which state prosecutors say is illegal.

Soules pleaded not guilty in May and is expected to face trial for leaving the scene of a fatal car crash, a class D felony.

In January, a district judge declined Soules’ request to have the charges dismissed.
