Gisele Bundchen clarifies her post-game Super Bowl comments: No one ‘let’ anyone win
Gisele Bundchen doesn't want her words to be misconstrued.

The supermodel, who's married to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, responded to the backlash that ensued after she consoled her crying kids following New England's Super Bowl loss to the Eagles by telling them you must "let someone else win sometimes."

"Just to be clear. No one 'let' anyone win," Bundchen tweeted Wednesday. "People win because of their own merit. Tired of people twisting my words to create drama that doesn't exist!"

Bundchen's comforting words were overheard by USA Today, which published a story early Monday morning about the post-game conversation. She was speaking to their two kids, as well as the quarterback's 10-year-old son from a previous relationship.

Some fans took exception to Bundchen's remarks, believing she discredited the Eagles' performance in a 41-33 victory that netted them the first Super Bowl title in franchise history.

Brady, meanwhile, fell to 5-3 in his eight Super Bowl appearances.
