"1 year Miracle Anniversary.... THANK YALL for your prayers during that time, and THANK YOU GOD for my beautiful family," Spears, the younger sister of Britney Spears, wrote Monday in an Instagram post showing her standing over her daughter as she lay in a hospital bed.

Maddie, who was 8 at the time, was driving a Polaris vehicle near their home in Kentwood, La., on Feb. 5, 2017, when she swerved to avoid a drainage ditch and flipped the ATV into a pond.

She was trapped underwater for several minutes as Spears and her husband, Jamie Watson, struggled to remove the young girl from the vehicle's safety belt and netting.

Paramedics arrived quickly and managed to remove Maddie from the pond. She was unconscious after being freed and was airlifted to the Children's Hospital of New Orleans.

Maddie remained unconscious for multiple days but made a miraculous recovery and was released from the hospital on Feb. 10.

Spears, 26, then chronicled her daughter's return to full health on social media in the subsequent days, and shared that Maddie was "fully recovered" near the end of February 2017.

Maddie celebrated her ninth birthday in December. On that day, Spears shared a photo of her daughter with the first responders who saved her life.

Spears ended her engagement with Maddie's father, Casey Aldridge, less than a year after her birth. The actress, who is known for her starring role on Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" as a teen, has been married to Watson since 2014.

Spears and Watson are currently expecting their second child.
